Bardon Latrobe Football Club is excited to announce that they are investing significant funds to upgrade and repair the Bowman Park sport’s fields over the off-season period.
Work has commenced today and will include levelling and returfing of the worn areas on Field 1 and major resurfacing, levelling, returfing and irrigation works for the MiniRoo fields (the fields on the opposite side of the clubhouse).
While the works are in progress regrettably the fields will need to remain closed. It is anticipated that they will be completed by the end of February 2022.
The Club acknowledges that the field closures over summer will come as a disappointment to some, however we ask for patience and understanding while this important upgrade is being conducted.
Once complete these works will hugely benefit the local community making the fields a safer, more enjoyable and sustainable place to play sport.
