As if history is poised to repeat itself, Bardon Latrobe’s Under-13 Division 1 team is preparing for a finals charge and another tilt at some silverware in 2019. The majority of players in our Div 1 team were a part of the Under-12s Division 2 championship winning side of 2018, having taken the long road to victory from third place on the ladder.
Coached by Eamonn McCaffrey, Bardon Latrobe’s Under-13s currently sit in fourth spot on the table with just three games to play before finals. A combination of hard work, shrewd coaching, astute team management, plenty of moral support from the parents and a lot of fun has yet again put our Under-13s within reach of a finals campaign.
This is no mean feat and as a club, we are all very proud of their achievements to date and wish them well in their efforts over the coming weeks as they continue to shine in 2019.
