Samuel Irvine Casey Honoured as Bardon Latrobe Football Club’s Newest Life Member
Bardon Latrobe Football Club is proud to announce Samuel Irvine Casey as the latest recipient of life membership, recognising his outstanding contributions and dedication to the club over the past eight years.
Samuel’s connection with Bardon Latrobe began as a junior player, developing his love for the game within the club’s youth ranks. As the club’s adult teams re-emerged around 2012 under former president Rob Wheeler, Samuel was among those who returned to play, helping to rebuild the senior side and strengthen the club’s presence in the competition.

Samuel joined the club’s committee in 2016, stepping into the role of Treasurer, a position he held for five years. His financial stewardship helped stabilise and strengthen the club, ensuring its long-term sustainability. In 2022, he took on the role of President, leading Bardon Latrobe through a period of growth and modernisation. His leadership, vision, and commitment to the club have left a lasting legacy.

During his tenure, Samuel played a key role in securing vital funding, improving club facilities, and fostering a strong community spirit. His passion for the club and the sport has made a significant impact, not only on the committee but also on players, coaches, and supporters alike.

Life membership is the highest honour Bardon Latrobe Football Club can bestow, reserved for individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service to the club. Samuel’s dedication, hard work, and leadership make him a truly deserving recipient.
The entire Bardon Latrobe community extends its heartfelt congratulations to Samuel Irvine Casey on this well-earned recognition and thanks him for his invaluable contributions to the club’s success.
