Youth Coaching Pathway (16+ years)

Bardon Latrobe juniors (16+) can become paid, qualified coaches through our Youth Coaching Pathway.

Getting Started
Young players aged 16+ can begin by assisting with our Easter and mid-season holiday camps. These roles offer paid, supervised coaching experience in a fun, supportive environment.
Ongoing Opportunities
Those who enjoy coaching can continue with paid small-group sessions—held in the mornings and afternoons—focused on skill development in 4-week blocks.
Qualifications
All coaching roles require at least the Foundation of Football Certificate. Many of our young coaches go on to complete their C Licence diploma as they gain experience.
What’s Ahead
From 2026, we’ll introduce a more structured program with set times, designated fields, and a clear progression pathway to support and develop our budding coaches.
