The afternoon started well for Bardon Latrobe with the reserve side winning 2-0. Alex Hutton grabbed the lead for Bardon Latrobe and Josh Hill added his third goal in two games before the interval. Both sides had chances in the second half and Phil Tinsley put a penalty wide before hitting the inside of the post with his next chance. Rhys Webber claimed the clean sheet in front of a solid looking defence.
Coach John Tatti was pleased with the win but still see’s room for improvement.

Hall came back from suspension to start in goal whilst Good came in at right back. Sherpa replaced McDermott and Bertram moved to the bench for the return of Field.
An early chance came for striker, Jerome Allen but his looping header hit the bar. Just a minute later Hugo Cretois set the striker free in the box to give Bardon Latrobe an early lead.
Slacks Creek created a couple of good chances, one in particular bringing a good save from Hall. On 15’ though the keeper was caught out on the edge of his box attempting to clear the ball and the chance fell for the Slacks Creek #9 to equalise.
Just 2 minutes later Sherpa got on to a free kick from Mavrik and headed past the keeper. Sherpa doubled his tally later in the half after being released with a perfectly weighted ball from Pratten.

Bardon Latrobe went into the break with a 3-1 lead.
On 57’ Mavrik made a jinking run across the field and played a deft ball into Field who beat the offside trap and finished coolly. Skipper Chico marshalling the defence well but Slacks Creek always probing. Around 73’ mark Slacks Creek converted a rapid counter attack but just 3 minutes later gave away a penalty.

Slacks Creek managed to find one more goal from their industrious right back to make it 5-3.
Time was almost up but Slacks Creek gave away a free kick on the edge of the box.
