Bardon Latrobe hope for Westside glory

It will be a blockbuster Sunday of action as Westside FC come to Bowman Park in a shoot-out for finals football. Our Capital League Three teams will play their round 22 games at home with 12:30pm and 2:30pm KOs.

Westside currently sit fourth on the ladder, two points ahead of Bardon Latrobe, having played one game more. Bardon Latrobe are fifth and a win would see them leapfrog Westside into finals football. A win for Westside would see them guarantee finals football. If the sides draw, Bardon Latrobe’s catch up game against Tarragindi Tigers comes into play.

Bardon Latrobe ran out 4 – 2 winners when the sides met earlier in the season with goals coming from Hugo Cretois and a hat-trick for Shannon Mavrik.

In the reserves it’s a battle between third placed Bardon Latrobe vs fourth placed Westside. The visiting team having won 2-1 earlier in the season with McDermott getting the goal for Bardon Latrobe.

Our City 5 face a must win tie against Samford Rangers in their hunt for finals football.

Our 6s play their third game in 6 days with a trip to James Drysdale reserve to face Pine Hills United (8:30pm KO) tonight and our City 7 round out their season against Westside on Sunday at 2pm (at Westside).

The Over 35s should face Mitchleton Mayhem at Mitchelton at 8:30pm this evening.
