Changing rooms progress update

It may be the school holidays but Bowman Park remains a hive of activity.

Alongside the popular School Holiday Football Clinic our builders continue work on the development of our new changing room facility and clubhouse canteen upgrade.

From new progress pictures taken recently you can see the footprint of the 4 changing room block as it emerges from the ground.

Our new shed sits resplendent near the cricketers nets at the Northern end of Bowman Park.

At this stage our changing room will be finished mid to late September.

Project Manager and Architect David Stone said that he is delighted with the progress being made.

“Premium Building Services are on schedule to deliver the changing room block on time.

“We are grateful for the progress and professionalism shown along with sub-contractors including One-2-One Plumbing and Keid-In Electrical,” David said.

Club President Phil Cowlishaw said that our members are excited about the developments.

“The benefit these changing rooms will provide can’t be understated. From feedback from members we know we were losing players due to inadequate changing rooms, especially for female players.

“The committee is dedicated to providing for our members and we are keen to continue the progress we are making.” Phil said.
