Bardon Latrobe Football Club is currently seeking coaches for our Senior Men Capital 3 Firsts and Reserves sides. Bardon Latrobe celebrated it’s centenary in 2016 and can lay claim to being the oldest football club to field a team in every year that Brisbane has held a competition since 1917. The senior sides re-emerged in 2011 and have played in various leagues in the Brisbane structure.
It is the vision of the club to return to the highest echelons of the Brisbane football pyramid.
The men’s squad is currently enjoying a post season break and will begin pre-season training in December– with pre-season friendlies likely to begin in February.
The successful applicants will be expected to:
• Arrange training sessions for the Capital 3 squad
• Arrange practice/pre-season matches as considered necessary for the Senior Teams pre-season develop.
• Attend all training sessions and matches for the season.
The successful applicant should possess:
• A Queensland Blue Card.
• FFA C License (minimum), with experience – Senior First Team Coach. Preferred applicant should hold a B or A Licensed with associated experience.
• Relevant Senior Coaching and Development competencies and experience for First Team Coach.
• Strong organisational, consultative and management skills.
• Ability to work with both social and competitive players.
• Ability with relevant IT and communication systems.
• Flexibility to work some weeknights and weekends.
• A professional appearance and manner
A small remuneration package is available for the right candidate. A selection panel of the President, Vice-President (Senior) and a committee member will select the preferred candidate.
