Committee

Statement from Club President

At the management committee meeting on March 7th current club secretary David Gillman notified the committee that he could no longer continue as club secretary.

The events that led up to David’s resignation are regrettable and complex but his professionalism over a few tumultuous months has been invaluable to this emergent committee.

Volunteers are hard to find, especially passionate community members with high business acumen. The nature of a committee means that not all ideas, motions and decisions pass unanimously or without robust discussion. However, the committee works diligently and passionately to provide the best football experience to our members. Voluntarily.

We’d like to thank David for this contribution and note with pleasure that he will continue in the role of Under 9s Age Coordinator. We wish Dave well.

As an interim measure I have taken up the role of club secretary as all other committee members are busy with their current portfolios in the lead up to the opening weekend of the season.

We would love for someone to step forward for this role, from outside the current committee, who wants to make a contribution to the successful running of this Football Club.

A draft job description is available here.
