The reserves started the game in emphatic fashion with live-wire striker, Norden Sherpa, scoring twice in the first 9 minutes. The second came from a poor clearance from the Jimboomba United keeper, Sherpa cooly chipping the keeper. The game settled with Bardon Latrobe having the lions share of possession and creating chances. Sherps completed his hat-trick in the 37th minute.

After half time Jordan Yasse made it 4-0 to Bardon Latrobe before a penalty was awarded for a handball. Austyn Boardman stepped up for the penalty and was initially denied before scoring from the follow up.

Jimboomba managed to get on the score sheet against Norden Sherpa who had gone in goal for the second half. Jordan Yasse completed the scoring for Bardon Latrobe after a well worked move and a cross from Will McDermott.

It took only 6 minutes for in-form striker Shannon Mavrik to capitalise on a weak back pass. Collecting the ball just before the keeper he put it through the keepers legs and fired home. The first half continued in much the same fashion until Pratten converted a lone range drive after being played in by Allen.
The next flash point came on the stroke of half time when a Jimboomba United player was sent off for a second yellow card.
Despite having 10 men, Jimboomba United improved in the second half.
