Our Capital League Three season kicks off this weekend with a trip to Esher Park to face Tarragindi Tigers. The reserves KO at 3pm, with the firsts at 5pm.
The Tigers will be keen to get their league season off to a flyer having finished in third place last season just 3 points off automatic promotion. The sides met in the first round last year with the Tigers picking up the win in a 10 goal thriller. The reverse fixture at Bowman was a tighter affair with the Tigers sealing an 86th minute comeback to win 2-1.
Both sides were in FFA Cup action last weekend with the Tigers sealing a 5-4 win against Oxley United, whilst Bardon Latrobe were on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline against St George Willawong.
In the reserves, the Tigers picked up the minor Premiership and were champions. However, the results were split with both teams winning their respective home fixtures and Bardon Latrobe inflicting only one of two defeats on the champions season.
