As part of providing a development pathway for our junior footballers the club has implemented a skills academy that will be held on Wednesday nights from 5.15 to 6.30.
The squad is open to all players aged 8 and up and will focus on core individual skills such as running, juggling, foot speed and dribbling.
Players improvement will be measured and feedback given.
It is not meant to replace the players team training but rather provide an additional training opportunity.
It is planned that this squad will continue to be run throughout the year offering all players a chance to maximise their development.
In order to successfully run this we ask parents for regular support in providing the resources required.
This will be by way of support either by becoming an “activity coordinator” or assist in timekeeping. It is proposed a roster system will be implemented to enable parents to contribute equitably.This provides a great opportunity for you to become involved and contribute to the club while your child develops.
