Expression of interest

Update — 31 January 2026

Thank you to everyone who submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Season 2026, the EOI process is now closed.

We’re still hoping to welcome a few more players in the age groups listed below. If you have another child who may be interested in playing for one of these teams, please reach out to the appropriate co‑ordinator:

U18 Boys
U15 Boys (Div 2)
U10 Girls
U12 Girls

For all other families, our Season 2027 EOI form will be available later in 2026..

New to the club?

This process is for new players of all age groups who are interested in joining the club.

Before signing up to our expression of interest (EOI) list, we recommend checking out our age group information first—it’ll help you understand where you or your child fits best.

We explain the EOI process here, and you’ll find links both on the age group pages and at the bottom of this page.

Existing members and invited players

If you were a registered player in the last winter season (March – September ), there's no need to submit an expression of interest. Please head straight to our registration page for the upcoming season.

The expression of interest process

  1. Each year, the club will open a members-only registration window in late November to early December . Members will be invited to register by email. The link to register is not provided on this website.

  2. This exclusive period will remain open until approximately mid/late-January . After that, any remaining spots will be filled from the expression of interest list, based on availability.

  3. If you are on the expression of interest list, the club will contact you when a playing spot becomes available. This is likely from February onwards.

How we select from the expression of interest list

  1. First intake
Priority is given to players who are siblings or children of existing members.
An existing member is defined as someone who played April–September football in the previous season.

  2. Subsequent intakes
We apply a weighted scorecard approach across the following measures:
    * Has the player previously played at the club?
    * Is the player or a parent willing to volunteer (e.g. coach or team manager)?
    * Does the player live or attend school in Bardon, Ashgrove, Paddington, or Red Hill?

In exceptional circumstances, selection may also consider the best fit for the existing team and incoming player. This will be at the discretion of the Age Coordinator, Registrar, and President, and only applied when deemed necessary to support team balance and development.
