Skills development

Bardon Latrobe Football Club offers additional skills training for existing members aged U8 to U13, including dedicated girls-only sessions led by female coaches. This initiative supports player development and encourages Bardon players to become coaches themselves.

Key details include:
  • Training is delivered by club coaches with formal Football Queensland accreditation, outside of regular team training
  • Sessions are designed to improve technical skills and game understanding
  • Girls-only sessions provide a supportive environment with female role models
  • Programs run during the season over three consecutive weeks
  • Each session lasts one hour and is held on weekday evenings at Bowman Park
  • Only current Bardon Latrobe members are eligible to participate

This initiative reflects the club’s commitment to nurturing both players and future coaches, fostering a strong community and pathway for development.
