Bardon Latrobe FC thrives on community spirit. Whether you can spare an hour each week or lend a hand on game day, there’s a role for you. As a grassroots club, we depend on everyone pitching in—and it’s this shared effort that helps us keep fees low, deliver a fantastic football experience, and stay a welcoming space for players of all ages and abilities. Training and support are always provided; and as Club President Gerard Doyle says 'Many hands makes light work'.
Help families join the club, keep registrations running smoothly, and shape the systems that make it all work.
Make sure every adult at the club holds a valid Blue Card, and be a friendly first point of contact for child safety.
Build relationships with local businesses so we can keep fees affordable and keep improving the club for kids.
Represent our senior, Metro and Overs teams on the committee, and help connect senior football with our juniors and MiniRoos.
Share the load with our Treasurer so club finances stay accurate, transparent and on top of.
Share what makes our club great: the kids, the volunteers, and the moments that happen every weekend at Bowman Park.
Make sure every player and every team has the right kit, sorted and ready before round one.
Say hello and let us know what you enjoy and the time you can share. We’ll match you with a role or one‑off task that suits your schedule.
Start supported. We offer clear handovers, friendly guidance, and check‑ins as you settle in. You’re never on your own.
Many roles require a valid Blue Card (free for volunteers). If you don’t have one yet, we’ll help you apply — easy. Safeguarding is a shared responsibility.
Reminder: Blue Cards are free for volunteers and take only a few minutes to apply for online. The General Manager can assist you with obtaining your blue card.
