Our previously featured U13s Division 2 side face a trip to Logan Sports Complex this weekend for a semi-final show down with Southside Eagles FC.
The team were focused in training with coach David Bounds this week. Working on defensive structure, moving the ball around and the infamous ‘umbrella’.
Coach Bounds said that whatever the result the team can be proud of the season.
“I have enjoyed taking over the coaching of this side, I helped out in pre-season and noticed immediately how talented this group is.”
“I know we’ll have numerous parents and supporters rock up to Logan Sports Complex and it’ll mean a lot to the players to be cheered on.”
“I’m hoping it will be the first of two wins for me that day, I’ll be dashing over to the City 5 Grand Final myself at Mitchelton FC straight after the game,” Coach Bounds said.
