The U13 girls team today defied the odds winning with only 10 players. It was a flying start to their season with a 11-0 win. Without their regular coach Maddie, Phil, the Bardon Latrobe president, stepped in and took the girls up to Pine Rivers.
“It was a real pleasure to coach this side today, there are some really talented footballers in this team but what impressed me the most was their teamwork for a group of players who have only just got together.”
“I hope they will have a wonderful season and I look forward to watching some more of their games at Bowman Park” Phil said.
