Will the Dolphins make a splash at Bowman Park?

Our Capital League Three teams will play their second home game of the season this Saturday as AC Carina visit for 1pm and 3pm KOs. City, junior and Miniroos games will also be taking place.

AC Carina picked up an impressive and important 2-1 home win against Clairvaux last week. That win moved them into joint third in the league. Bardon Latrobe came unstuck against joint leaders Caboolture, the game finishing 1-6. With other teams winning Bardon Latrobe have fallen to 11th on the ladder just ahead of Narangba United (and Westside U6 Raptors).

AC Carina won both games against Bardon Latrobe last season including a 0-6 victory at Bowman Park.

In the reserves AC Carina were unable to stop the momentum of surprise league leaders, Clairvaux, going down 3-5 in a high scoring game. Bardon Latrobe looked to have caused an upset last week in the reserves, when Wang Lame put Bardon Latrobe 2-1 up in the closing minutes. A last minute goal from Caboolture meant the points were shared. The sides are both on 7 points and with a 4+ goal difference.

There will be live updates this from the game on the Bardon Latrobe Twitter.

Our City 5 team will be hoping to get their season under away, making the short trip to Dunmore Park to face Toowong FC at 3pm on Saturday. Sunday will see a double header for our 7’s and 6’s facing Samford and Westside at 1pm and 3pm.
